The Master of Arts in Faith-Based Project Management, Specialization in Ministry-Based Project Management, is an interdisciplinary graduate program designed to equip leaders with the technical competencies and ethical framework necessary to navigate the complexities of organizational leadership within the faith-based sector. The curriculum merges traditional project management methodologies with the unique challenges of mission-driven, values-centered environments, ensuring that graduates are prepared to serve as effective stewards of resources and vision in diverse ministry contexts. Through a combination of rigorous academic inquiry and practical application, students gain mastery over project lifecycles, team leadership, and strategic planning, all viewed through the lens of ethical responsibility and servant leadership. The program serves both professionals seeking to formalize their management skills and those transitioning into roles that require a sophisticated understanding of both administrative efficiency and spiritual stewardship. Graduates emerge as leaders who are capable of navigating institutional change with wisdom, academic integrity, and a commitment to advancing the mission of faith-based and community organizations through sustainable, long-term impact.

The 60-credit master's program provides advanced preparation in faith-based project management theory, human behavior, ethics, assessment awareness, research, program evaluation, crisis response, leadership, referral, and faith-based project management-support services.

The graduate capstone may include: An applied research study; A community needs assessment; A faith-based project management-support program; A professional training manual; A program-development and evaluation project; Another faculty-approved scholarly project.

The program is designed for completion within two academic years by students maintaining the University's prescribed full-time course load. Part-time students may require additional time.

Florida establishes a minimum of 24 semester credits beyond the bachelor's degree for a master's program. The University's 60-credit requirement is an institutional academic standard that exceeds that minimum.
